Pico Maccario, a dedicated Barbera specialist, is found on the hills of Mombaruzzo in the Asti DOCG at an average altitude of 180 meters. Comprising one single, contiguous parcel, their vineyard covers 70 hectares and is the largest solely-owned vineyard in Piedmont. Within the 70 hectares, there are some 315,000 vines capped at the end of each row by one of the approximately 4,500 red rose bushes on the property. It is no surprise that the rose is part of the winery's emblem.

Smith and Hook Cabernet SauvignonVibrant aromas of dark fruit and black currant with hints of sweet spice and toasty oak. Full bodied and full of flavor with a round viscous mouthfeel backed with concentrated tannic structure carry through to a smooth finish. The robust flavors of this wine are a great complement to roasted duck breast, beef tenderloin or short ribs.
Calera Central Coast Chardonnay 2014This beautiful 2014 Chardonnay possesses delightful notes of hibiscus, pineapple and citrus. Flavors are so wonderfully integrated and balanced; Fuji apple, lemon chiffon and a soft, round, sensuous mouthfeel with a nice bright sweet-tart personality. A delicious wine all around.
Mossback Pinot NoirThe 2015 Mossback Pinot Noir is a blend of Russian River Valley fruit sourced from growers that winemaker Dan Cederquist has worked with for over 20 years. A great cherry and ruby red color in the glass leads to inviting aromas of black cherry, cream cola, licorice and vanilla. A soft, silky entry is followed by complex layers of fleshy plum, black cherry and vanilla. The 2015 Pinot Noir has a pleasingly long finish with lingering dark fruit and cocoa powder. This is a well-structured wine that is sure to please and will pair exceptionally well with pork and duck dishes.
Notre Dame des Pallieres Gigondas 2013
Trentadue Old Patch RedOur goal when we started Trentadue Winery in 1969, was to produce affordable, every day drinking wine, and we refused to sacrifice on quality. The Trentadue wines are products of that credo, proving that excellence in grape growing and wine making don't require a hefty price tag. From our Estate to your dinner table, these wines consistently over deliver.
La Cartuja Priorat 2014Smoky, spicy dark berries and mocha appear on the nose and in the mouth, with a subtle mineral nuance building in the glass. Tangy acidity adds lift and definition to the juicy, sharply focused palate. Finishes long and minerally with slow-building dusty tannins. Aged in used French oak barrels for six month. In the context of Priorat, this wine delivers excellent value. This wine has enough "stuffing" and structure to pair well with BBQ beef brisket or pork, grilled Argentine beef, and mesquite grilled or smoked baby back pork ribs. It also has a freshness and spice character that is a good match for Cuban roast chicken, pork with Latin spices and cracked pepper turkey.
