The 2017 is a classic, crowd-pleasing California Chardonnay with excellent weight and texture. Growing conditions in 2017 were perfect, with winter rains followed by a mild spring and warm summer. The juice was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve acidity and freshness, followed by four months of aging in a mix of 1/3rd French and American oak and 2/3rd stainless steel. The result is a layered Chardonnay with a perfect balance of roundness and fruit.
