The translucent ruby-hued 2021 Gigondas has a beautiful perfume of wild strawberries, sappy green herbs, flowers, and spice to go with a medium-bodied, elegant, lightly textured style on the palate. It's not massive, and I don't think it's going to make terribly old bones, but I love its purity as well as its sense of elegance. The blend is 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah.

Aromas of red licorice, crushed rose, and thyme stems create a simple yet appealing nose. The palate is spiced, though straightforward, with limited complexity. Easy-drinking and well-suited for pairing with flavorful dishes like beef satay, this wine is unpretentious and approachable.

The pale ruby-colored 2021 Gigondas, made from certified organic grapes, aged for 18 months in a 30-hL foudre. Fragrant notes of blood orange, raspberry, strawberry, mint and a dash of dried herbs emerge. Medium-bodied and concentrated, it incorporates velvety tannins and concludes with good energy on the clean finish.
